That's how I see it should work, the odd random stray etc.

I have no problem with them being expired and have probably done 1,000s of them but at a time when it suits me, not when I am entering and find a dozen or more on the first couple of pages that have been bumped because they expired within the last day.

Duh, I don't get that either. It clearly is wrong or right. It's either wanted or not. If not, that's fine. I'm not huffy about it. Now I know, I will leave it alone. Can't speak for others. My guess is people will do this thinking they're being helpful, like I did. Life is complicated here sometimes

It's only opinion there are no proper rules so there is no right or wrong.

Well from now on I will just click expire if I come across one in passing and then leave it.

If it makes more work for the BG, so be it.

It doesn't make much difference, I think a BG said they can move 200 at a time.

some do get missed though if the titles are slightly wrong or the pages jump, (and sometimes there isn't time to do them on a daily basis ) so if you see any whilst comping that are still on the main board and it isn't taking up too much of your time please press expire, every little helps

personally I find it helpful when someones checked them & asked for them to be PPE'd, it's just the same going through the pages as when they've been bumped for anything else to me,
but that's just my opinion x

I've been following Zanzib's posts all week and for the most part once they have been put to the front page by Zanzib asking to expire them, most have gone to Game Over on my click.

I agree with fire**fly, I haven't the time at the moment to actively search comps just to expire them, but when I see them on the front page it's easy to click expire on them and they disappear within seconds of being there so presumably most people don't even notice they were ever there?

Ok, I told meself that I wasn't going to join in with this one anymore - apparently, I lied

I agree with FF and Mum2. To me, it's no different to bumping for anything else to do with the comps. If dead comps are bumped to the top for PPE, then with a handful of clicks, they're sorted. If not I bet they get far more clicks from people trying to enter them after they've closed. So actually, it would waste fewer peeps' time to bump them to the top for chucking into GO.

Right, that is definitely it for me - I'm going to try now to watch from a distance and follow whatever seems most wanted. Would be interested in Glad's take on this?
