    Does anyone know if books sell well on ebay? Have lots of them lying around.

    Ebay can get as addictive as paying off debt ;) Books don't do too well as there are companys that just list second hand books on ebay. You could give them a try on ebay or try Green Met (although slow sells) or take them to a car boot sale.

    Great idea, never thought of a car boot sale! :)

    I have about 50 books, so thought even if I get 50p each for them, its still £25 towards the debt

    Just looking up all my loose change then going to make another payment to the council tax debt...

    £15 to council tax debt paid.. Love seeing this coming down, def focusing on clearing this, only £330 to go.

    £30 still to pay to reach this months target. Plenty time to find this somehow / cut back on non-essentials etc.

    Have put my ebay items on 7 day listings, soooooo long to wait..

    One things I am learning about myself on my DFJ is that I have absolutely NO patience what-so-ever

    TTGU, it maybe worth listing everything once on ebay and then do a couple of car boot sales. If it doesn't sell on ebay it may go at the car boot and most are only £5 outlay. Worth a shot ;)

    Thanks, I will see how ebay goes and if no success then go for a carboot sale :)

    Chased up the cheque for my mobile phone, apparently it was sent out 3 weeks ago.. So they are issuing another one today! Cant even remember how much it was for now... £8 i think...

    £30 paid to council tax debt today, thats it, I am at my target for June..

    Debt still to pay £4500

    Debt cleared 35.19%
