Could you try to persaude her and her friends to use one of the messaging apps rather than texting all the time? Whatsapp and Viber are the best known ones.

I have just spoken to apple and they said there is currently no way to count txts sent apart from count manually!

He also said that her phone speaker is broken (she has been having a problem hearing calls) I thought it was just some setting that she had messed with, but he has told me to take it back.

so those I have on FB get messages sent over data(wifi at home)
those who arent still get an SMS
