Intersting case in Scotland where the tribunal held that a bedroom was not a bedroom so could not have the [STRIKE]room subsidy[/STRIKE] bedroom tax applied:

If I was the local authority I would reduce the amount of housing benefit arguing why is the Housing Association charging the rent for a 3 bedroom property when it is actually a 2 or 1 bedroom property.
Most social housing is for example charged £70 for 1 bedroom property, £80 for 2 bedroom or £90 for 3 bedroom.
If someone who is charged £90 wins an appeal that it is a 1 bed then their housing association should be charging for a 1 bed property .These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0
