What are my rights?

Bought a motorbike from a dealer secondhand.
Paid on my credit card. The bike has 2 years warranty on it.
Had the bike for 4 days then it would not work phoned the dealer and they came and collected the bike that was 5 days ago.
They told me that there was water in the petrol tank but, I never even put any petrol in.
They said they had to remove the petrol and let it dry.
I phoned them today and they said that the problem was still there and water was in the system.
They have now told me that it will be Wednesday when ready.
My guts shouting this is a wrong one and get my money back, but how?

They are communicating with you and repairing the bike under warranty as agreed, not really sure what the issue is other than it being annoying.

It's a common problem - is it a road or dirt bike? This has happened to me a few times and as long as they rectify it at no cost to you, the are acting responsibly.

Thanks for your response its a road bike.
I think its just that they have had the bike more than me.
    Hopefully it will be sorted.

You have the right to reject it for a full refund at this stage. Or can accept their offer of repair.. however if this does not resolve the issue would not affect your right to reject it - since you have acted in a way that would not be deemed to have accepted the goods under the Sales of Goods Act.

Bought a motorbike on the 9th March on the 14th march it would not work and it is still under warranty so the dealer came and collected it on the same day. They delivered it back today without any petrol in. My son took it a good 25 min walk to the petrol station and put petrol in the bike would not start.

They have had bike more than I have since bought.

I phone the dealer Robinsons Bikes, Rochdale and spoke to Steve the general manager. I told him that the bike did not work still and was not fit for purpose and I want a full refund. He said its not as simple as that they need to check it over and see what the problem is again. They are coming to collect it tomorrow. Truthfully, I just want a refund he said that he will check it over and see what the problem is and go from there.

What are my rights? Do I have if any?

When spoke to the general manager Steve he said that the first time they had the bike back it had over 2 litres of water in and was saying that we put it in. We had not even put any petrol in. We had only had bike for 4 days.

    Just thought I would re-cap.
Went over to RobinsonsRochdale yesterday and spoke with Steve (general manager) he told me that the bike needs a new petrol tank. I told him that I have been very patient and let them try and fix bike in the first place. They have had to bike 10 days and we have had bike 4 days.
I asked them for a full refund under the sales of goods act. He, said that he is not authorized to give refunds so I asked to speak with someone who has. He told me that no-one was available and he would phone me that evening which he did not.
I payed £1335 for this bike and its a lot of money he was quite flippant and said thats nothing. I said if its nothing then re-fund the money.
He said they were getting the tank under the warranty and didnt see the problem in waiting a couple of weeks for it to be repaired. I said, I didnt buy a bike to spend more time in the workshop than on the road.
He said he would not give a re-fund as he is not authorized so to leave the shop. To which I did I was not being aggressive or loud and said I would await his call. Now what can I do?
