btw i have just discovered my living room tv has freeview built in... had it 3 years and only just noticed lol :o

I just did auto tune and it's only picking up 8 freeview channels. I'm confused i just went to the freeview coverage website and it said i should be getting about 50 channels

Thats down to your aerial singal. Try a booster - but probably needs aerial moving or replacing.

Sky warranty is a waste of money - threaten to leave and they will fix it for free anyway.

Yep, i got about 8 too.

Got someone to move my earial for best signal and clean my junction box (it had water in) and then tape it up.

This got MOST channels - but was missing a few. An indoor booster helped find the rest.

Had this failed - i would have got a new aerial.

Hey, sorry I forgot to come back and post. Did you get the letter confirming what you'd be paying? I checked and there are offers without HD so should be okay, just wanted to double check :)

Yeah I did and it said i have to pay £0.00 result :money:

The engineers came yesterday to fit my new dish and box and everything is working perfect well except for one thing.

I have a magic eye in my bedroom so i can watch sky in my room, the problem now is when i'm changing channels on my bedroom tv it's really slow compared to the old standard sky box, takes nearly a minute to change channels. I'm confused why it's so slow :(

Hm. I don't know. Do you have any other equipment connected to it? If you phone up Sky they won't know 'cause they don't have tech support for magic eyes anymore....

Just a dvd player downstairs. Before on the old standard box it would change channels instantly but now it has a delay :(
