Since when have google been responsible for governing who can or cannot advertise?

Just because there are a few posts on the internet. Does not make them a bad company.
I'm sure that they supply more goods than ones that they don't.

  • I was stupid enough to buy a Nexus 7 tablet from Simply Electronics on 28 Jan 2013. Only afterwards did I come across comments written about them on the internet...To cut a long story short, I didn't get my Nexus 7, but I did get my money back without too much trouble. My story goes like this: Chased them about the order by email mid Feb; decided nothing happening and cancelled the order 4th March. Their excuses for not delivering were 'unexpected backlog' and 'high demand with our service'. When I cancelled the order, they offered me a free 4GB memory card if I kept the order!! I resisted such bribery and continued with my cancellation. I threatened to report them to Trading Standards in Hong Kong...(although couldn't find out how to - or which dept - anybody know?).. I finally got my money back in my Bank Account on 27 March - so 2 months interest they gained on my £199. My advice - pester them (via their contact us page on their website) and maybe the threat to report to Trading Standards helped - I don't know! They also sent me a satisfaction questionnaire on 25 March, so just before I got my money back, so I told them (politely!) what I thought of their service. They always replied to my emails very politely - that's about their best feature! So if they owe you money, keep on at them and don't give up!

So you went to great lengths and trouble to get something your card provider could have got no end quicker and with far less interaction from your self...

Not recieved by 16 Feb (debit date 01/02/13)
Telephone call to card provider. non reciept chargeback actioned. (does not require any paperwork)
Refund in a couple of days onto your account.
Simply then have 45 days to contest. They need to prove delivery signed by YOU......

Bonus is they get charged per chargeback as well and too many and they can lose the right to take card payments....

  • I am also having problems getting my money back.
I ordered a Google Nexus 10 over 2 months ago. After waiting for a month, (always answer e-mails within 24 hours) , I also cancelled my order.
I have now been trying for a month to recover my money.
They claim to have returned it to my credit card company on 19th March.
Its now 3rd April no money (they take the money from your card in 24 hours).
E-mails are answered, but today 3rd April, telephone line not working, (have they done a runner).
My credit card has put the amount £409, in dispute and I will supply all the e-mails to them, and not have to pay.

So my advice IS BUY NOTHING FROM THE COMPANY.
They may be cheap but do not deliver the goods or return the money

AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS COMPANY
