Credit Card Fraud involving Blizzard Entertainment

-
Yesterday (10/16) I found 2 charges from Blizzard Entertainment for 14.99 and put a freeze on my account. Today, 4 more charges for 14.99 appeared.
Blizzard Entertainment is mostly to blame for this kind of fraud because they accept no responsibility for their highly unethical business practices. What kind of company allows people to make multiple credit card charges without even asking who they are? They allow players to create accounts without confirming their identities in anyway. They dont even delete the accounts they know are using stolen credit card numbers.
Blizzard needs to be investigated by consumer protection immediately and if possible, their online gaming "community" needs to be shut down.
This has gone too far. These geeks are screwing with peoples lives and their well being…and for what? A game? Shut it down now!

I am interested in filing a class action suit.
I have been hit recently.
I am not sure if the OP and others are here.
Please pm me for instructions and planning.
I had $170+ taken from my account.0 -

- The store or site that allowed your credit card info to be stolen. Places that store your CVC number, address, and other personal information they don't need (or in fact are required not to store) should bear the brunt of the anger for storing that information and/or having shoddy security.
- VISA/Mastercard. Currently, the large banks have no insentive to really crack down on this. When mass fraud like this happens, they make money on the transaction fees and the fines they level against Blizzard for having so many fraudulant transactions. Blizzard is not only loses the entire transaction to a refund, they also are out the fees and the fines. If Blizzard would like to take legal action to recover those damages, the banks are no help in aiding Blizzard to find the places responsible for leaking stolen credit card data in the first place (the people liable for the loss).
- The thieves. Yep, the people who stole the card info are the real culprits. They unfortunately are largely untrackable.
You are ABSOLUTELY WRONG!
I have researched this company and their very BASE has fraud written in it. As they have had their OWN SHARE of accounting practices.
So please don't tell me to be angry at the thieves, and do NOT patronize me!
BLIZZARD.COM IS A SCAM, AND I AM INTERESTED IN SHUTTING THEM DOWN!
Can't be libel if it is TRUE:
See: Blizzard Entertainment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Blizzard Entertainment is an American video game developer and publisher ... In 1998 it became apparent that CUC had engaged in accounting fraud for years ...0 -

You might be better on a US website?
You would also do well not to post potentially libellous statements on this website (I have not quoted it to give you the opportunity to delete it).Gone ... or have I?0 -
Slander = Saying something INTENTIONALLY not true to harm or sabotage someone's sales.
OPINION should and can be posted. Are you going to EDIT anyone else's post from the beginning, please start from page 1.
thanks for the advice and warm welcome!0 -

I for one welcome someone with a robust American attitude to FRAUD, which, via fractional banking, is one of the major factors in the global credit crunch.
While this thread has been in action Vivendi has obviously got cold feet and passed part of its liability:
This is your target now:
Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI) is an American video game developer and publisher, partially owned by conglomerate Vivendi SA. The company is the result of a merger between Activision and Vivendi Games, announced on December 2, 2007[4] in a deal worth USD$18.8 billion.[5] The deal closed July 9, 2008.
Unfortunately here in the UK, we ordinary punters have been ham strung when it comes to dealing with fraud.

This site is reasonably strong in allowing postings of fact and fair comment - though it has taken down a thread that dealt with a teenage fraudster even though the poor little crook was eventually prosecuted for a seven figure sum. Obviously the system felt he was the "victim".

Thank you!!!
I think that fraud should be challenged on a universal level!
Everyone works hard for their money!

Unfortunately I am not wrong. Blizzard (now owned by Activision) easily loses 100k's of dollars a month thanks to the same people that tried to steal $170 from you. Of course in America, you are free to sue whoever you like, so feel free to take on a billion dollar corporation that's being hampered by fraud daily.
Also, it's worth noting that CUC engaged in fraud back in 1998, not Blizzard.
It's important to know where to direct your resources in trying to stop internet fraud. You and Blizzard are the victims here. It's no different than a thief stealing Anne's car and selling it to Bob. Anne and Bob both lose, and the thief wins.0 -

Can't really understand how in the hell they've got my debit card number.. Haven't been using it for internet payments except that one month subscription for Wow..
I think I'm going to visit my bank tomorrow :mad:0 -
