Does any know of any Websites where one can SEND free SMS texts. There used to be a few of them some years ago but most have now converted to paid services. The only one I currently know off is from 02 website which gives you only 10 free texts a month. Are there any others.

dkent mentions the one i use .Its 5p to send international text.Thats cheap and it works,and no adverts you have to look at !0

You can use; http://www.sms.ac/ to send three free International SMS per day. Just remember to un-subscribe for any Clubs or emails soon after you register.
Other than that there are no catches.0 -
Hi there,
I used to be with SMS AC a few years back but they were too CRAFTY in applying charges. What they did was 1. They charged the person you sent TEXTS to and :
2. Sent you a delivery notification and CHARGED you for it as well. There was no option to stop this notification ALERT!! I could not register with a phony phone as A verification Code was Needed to veryfy your account. So I cancelled my account with them.
Maybe they have chaged thier WAYS. If they have, then I can register another account with them. Can you confirm that they really do not charge the sender of the TEXT messages and that it is REALLY FREE INDEED!!
