I know exactly what you mean, not callous at all it is how I feel about it. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life, and I will be so relieved when it is over, I want to be able to live my life again. You know the exciting moments like hitting whoopsies at the right time, finding mega cheap wine at 3am in the morning etc etc.
Hope no one else finds how I say things to be cold or hard either, it is just a reality for me.
Everyone that's been in your position will know exactly what you mean. :A0 -
Clocks forward tonight ..lose an hours sleep:eek:..but gain an hours daylight:T.Had a good whoopsie time last night with Lala ,lots of beautiful flowers and some decent meat all at 90% not a lot of people about for some reason.

Another thesp! Mind you, I did my drama degree at wolverhampton uni so I can't really call myself a thesp!Morning All! Thank you for thisI'm going to be putting some boards down in the attic so I can organise my stash up there. I've order 4 for delivery through tcb (4.04% until the end of today) and put my nectar card in too so I'm a happy bunny :j
SFSB so sorry to hear your news
Have a great day all xCoupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D
:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j
:money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.790 -
if you log into your account online you can convert it to a non annual fee one that will still get nectar points (at the current rate of 1 point). I did that a couple of days ago.
They just seem to be doubling the nectar points and charging £25 a year for that
edit:
actually you don't need to go to your account, here's the direct link to choose an alternative card http://www.americanexpress.com/uk/microsite-nceapp/nectar-ip.html (about 2 thirds of the way down the page)
Great update thank you - if this applies to me I will opt out. Will wait to see what the post brings, as I have only had this a few months so it may apply after the first year (as the first year offer had double points for the first year anyway and no fee).
I am not sure that the enhanced benefits are worth £25 a year though, unless you were making a big purchase?
Also, not being funny, but 50,000 points is a bit poor for a big value prize - this converts to only £250 (but they are giving away 2, so very generous given they are selling out their customer base!)?

Still working on moving the garden pics, but DH has been out using his new camera, so I thought I'd post a few of his. They were all taken in the last week or so. Nice to see the Spring flowers starting to bloom.

Red Deadnettle
Sweet Violet
The obligatory Robin

Lovely photos naebbirac. Thanks for posting them.0 -
I bought some Taylor's eye witness knives yesterday in Asda reduced to £8 (recommended by my sis who's a cook and loves them). Didn't realise how sharp they were until I just sliced my finger open with the bread knife !!! :eek:There comes a time in every woman's life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne ... How can you tell which version of the card you have? I have a purple Sainsburys nectar card but I've not had a letter about an annual fee.
Looking at this link the 2 cards look identical ???“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
