  • Just placed a T wine order, OK I know there's a glitch on for you guys but I can't get it as not in UK. So - 25% off ie £60 for £80 worth of wine (already reduced by 50% so they say lol), TCB 4.5%, +750 bonus CC points = 830, Amex = 60 Avios, free delivery on chosen day, chosen slot. Code out there for the 750 points expires today. Worked out @ £3.33 a bottle for some dead tasty stuff plus all the points.

  • You'll be riveted to learn that flushed with the installation of Win 8 on son #2's PC yesterday (Win XP Pro ---> Win 8 Pro), I'm now upgrading spare PC from XP Pro ---> Vista Ultimate using a spare licence.

It'd gone very odd/ laggy and kept dropping broadband so hope this sorts it out.

    All installed & working :D

Irritating habit of dropping the broadband connection persists, but only a spare so not a big deal.

That Vista is dead annoying to use after not using it for a few years

I bought some Taylor's eye witness knives yesterday in Asda reduced to £8 (recommended by my sis who's a cook and loves them). Didn't realise how sharp they were until I just sliced my finger open with the bread knife !!!
