I noticed this on HOTUKDEALS today and bought 2 (£9.99 each and there is a 15% off code)

    Morning all.

Bad news through the post this morning:( Amex are introducing a £25/year fee on my Nectar Credit Card. Hadn't used it much in the last year or so except for the Foursquare/Amex deals so there needs to be some continuing good deals on that to keep it especially with amazon vouchers no longer being available with nectar points.

Could cancel then take out a new Amex fee free for first year, or get another family member to take up a new offer and add you as an additional card holder? I only took out this one for the intro offer (£30 Cashback from TCB, 10,000 additional Nectar bonus plus Foursquare offers) as it was fee free, then will cancel if it a charge is introduced.

That is bad news if this is for everyone, I only got this recently, as it didn't have an annual fee, for the Foursquare deals. I have one as does Mrs Anon - she has an additional card on my account and I on hers, so 4x the offer for Shell recently :). Have you had it a year or more recent please?

I've had the card for about 7 years now with two other additional cards on the account. Need to look at whether it's worth keeping as I use a number of other cards for rewards.

Letter says: "The changes to your T&Cs will take effect from 21 May 2013......first annual memebership fee will be billed soon after the anniversary of your account opening on your April 2014 statement"

Didn't you know that it usually takes months to be paid out on TCB and Quidco

everybody is taking months right now.I actually think it's getting worse.

I have Santander since November, lets subscribe December and plenty of others too.

I might not be desperate for the money but it would be nice. I've been doing jobs on chez rosie and some coins could be handy.

Amex Nectar is still advertised as no annual fee on their site:

Nice scenery and is a red poll also a red cap
    Thanks.
I asked DH about 'red cap', he says he doesn't think so.
There are two types of Redpoll, the 'lesser', which he thinks this pic is, and the 'common', but it's difficult to tell them apart unless you see both types together.
