I think I might be coming down with something  there was a boots glitch and I didn't partake

On the subject of Easter eggs.....I haven't bought a single one. I offer but my kids always say they'd rather have something else. This year the boys got £5 each and DD got a set of lip glosses. Thats what they wanted. Theres always plenty of chocolate around if they want it :)
  • Sorry guys, I like to post a few words here whenever I get the chance, but unfortunately I have just had a nightmare few days and haven't really wanted to.

My dear FIL died on Tuesday night. He was a lovely, lovely man who always had a smile for everyone and was loved by everyone he met.

Me, my lovely wife and my beautiful 6yo daughter have all taken it very badly and we all turn on the waterworks at every opportunity. Thankfully my 4yo DS is still too young to understand.

Anyway, give me some time and I'll be back insulting those who deserve it (like dotty). Until then, happy glitchin', smell ya later..

Oh sfsb I'm so sorry, deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I have been in your position before.
Could involve kids in making their own by covering a balloon slightly blown up and covered with butter with melted chocolate. Trick is to cool the chocolate enough so still runny enough to cover balloon without being to hot to burst it.
Then when set burst balloon and remover via hole in base where balloon knot was.

Such great fun and can even make marbled egg using dark and white chocolate.

Burst a balloon in mums kitchen once and she was finding splatters of chocolate for months later.

If children still poorly channel 4's egg watch is a great program and quite addictive waiting for eggs to hatch.

    Great post vt ! :T:T
    Hope is not a strategy.
