Lmoncello receipe for Carribean backwards.
Hope it makes sense.



Limoncello

Put the rind of 6 lemons into vodka.
I use a Bon mamon jam jar so whatever quantity that holds
Sterilise first obviously.

Leave for minimum of 2 weeks

After 2 weeks make sugar syrup using 2 oz sugar and 4 oz water
When boiled and sugar has dissolved add juice of 6 lemons and leave to cool.
Strain lemon vodka and when syrup is cold add the lemon vodka.

I store for up to 6 months in fridge.

You can get a perpetual batch going by using peel from sugar syrup lemons to make next batch of vodka.

Rarely have problems finding whoopsied lemons.

Very nice in summer mixed with lemonade to make a long drink similar to Smirnoff ice.

Mimi1234 - done 2 shops now with toms and used 2 coupons/2 cans each time - SA's not blinked and put through.HTH - altho there's always the odd trout - but on the whole people not having probs - the £2 finest coupons more of a mixed bag tho. Happy shopping....

Well I must say a glass of the finest montepulciano has made doing the ironing a bit more bearable this evening - it's rock and roll Friday here
I would even go so far as to say I could have happily ironed a couple of davemorton's shirts :eek:

Awww thanks MORGY9, you are a love. I will give it a go tomorrow. Was going to give it a whirl at the main Leeds city centre store but not there until next week. Wish me luck. Hope you had a great day. Happy Easter x x

I usually have a nice little pile of coupons and seperate them in the bundle and hope they don't notice. My Ts lately have been chucking any coupons that don't scan back at me and tell me to go to CS.....so I do. They're happy there if you say this coupon wouldn't scan and show them the offending item. Luckily I havent been asked for my receipt......yet:)

I have been in your position before.
Could involve kids in making their own by covering a balloon slightly blown up and covered with butter with melted chocolate. Trick is to cool the chocolate enough so still runny enough to cover balloon without being to hot to burst it.
Then when set burst balloon and remover via hole in base where balloon knot was.

Such great fun and can even make marbled egg using dark and white chocolate.

Burst a balloon in mums kitchen once and she was finding splatters of chocolate for months later.

If children still poorly channel 4's egg watch is a great program and quite addictive waiting for eggs to hatch.

1st shop 4 cans - 3 vouchers scanned 1 didn't, I asked her to try again and it worked.

2nd shop - 4 cans all mocs scanned

3rd shop - 6 cans all scanned no problem

I would so love to get a trolley with 80 cans of toms, something else to the value £5 then hand over 80 mocs and a £5 hh voucher
