My dear FIL died on Tuesday night. He was a lovely, lovely man who always had a smile for everyone and was loved by everyone he met.
Me, my lovely wife and my beautiful 6yo daughter have all taken it very badly and we all turn on the waterworks at every opportunity. Thankfully my 4yo DS is still too young to understand.
Anyway, give me some time and I'll be back insulting those who deserve it (like dotty). Until then, happy glitchin', smell ya later..
Sorry to hear your sad news SFB, my condolences to you and your family. Spend all the time you can with your family, you will all be able to comfort each other. Kids are actually a great comfort at this time. My dd was 6 when we lost Mum and she was wonderful telling me all the things that she will remember about Nanny. It broke my heart but in a strange way helped as I knew that she would never be forgotten. Take care SFB xxWhen I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think

Oh SFSB,
So sorry to hear this. It seemed only last week when you got the news:A
I hope you were able to enjoy your last few weeks with him. He sounded like a great guy and I know you will miss him dearly.
Stay strong for your little ones. He would not have wanted you all to be distressed.
Come back soon but in the meantime you will be in our thoughts:ATo do is to be. Rousseau
