I have a bunch of foreign teenagers coming to stay with me this weekend so can't be fiddling around in me pile of receipts in front of them can I? Think of what they would go home and tell their parents!!!

    Oh please do! :rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.

has anyone been to the Isle of Man at this time of year?

we have found a trip there, but seems a hell of a long way to travel on a coach :( and especially if the weather is gonna be pants.

can anyone suggest anywhere else to go, either here or abroad, been looking for 4 days in the sun but seems impossible to get a flight out of any northern/midland airport.

we have budgeted ourselves around £400

so, looking/hoping at somewhere in the UK pleaseeeee.

    any suggegstions greatly appreciated..Many Thanks

Dohhhhhhhh, its the isle of white we have seen a trip to, not the isle of man.

My Dad goes over to the Isle of Mann twice a year for the Manx grand Prix and the TT and loves it. I know last week he was saying they have had a lot of snow over there and some places are completely cut off so it would definitely be wise to check out the weather if you're thinking of going and seeing if the snow has cleared up.

Whoops just seen your edit, don't know about the Isle of White :)

Good morning everyone, actually started out with brilliant sunshine here, but clouding over a bit now.

Tried a quick read back, but running out of time, things to do etc.

Reading about the painting, my DS and his fiancee and son are finally moving into their own place this weekend, so hopefully he will be removing the things from his room soon, that means I can finally paint it (he "painted" it shortly before he moved out), get it looking decent, it will be my spare/stash room. OH is getting no say in this!

While I am painting the spare room I shall also be repainting the bathroom, does anyone know where I can get paint primer from and which is best (not wood primer, primer to go over previous emulsion to make this layer actually stick). The bathroom has a very pealy ceiling due to using bathroom paint last time that I had to paint over fairly quickly because it leaked brown stuff everytime it got wet!!!! I need to make sure the next coat stays where it is put!

I also have to paint the shed but this weather is rather preventing me from doing that.

Strange thing is, I thoroughly enjoy painting!!!

I've just been looking for paint:D
B&Q got a 342 offer on paint - reserve and collect or home delivered only. Noticed some primer in that offer. I'm thinking I have a few one for all cards to spend ;)

Morning everyone! lutzi I wonder if you married us if near Bristle? I was 15 mins late due to hair issues :) all fine then got told had to go now or registrar would run out of time and would have to leave to go to next wedding
No I'm up north my dear, just flying from Bristol on a penny flight (those were the days) :).

If we have more than one wedding we are not allowed to endanger the start time of the next wedding if the previous one is running late, as it's not fair to them. I've never had to leave a wedding to get to another venue on time yet, but it will happen sooner or later. (15 minutes wouldn't be a problem for us). If we could we'd then go back and marry the latecomers later on in the day. We do wait ridiculous amounts of time for people sometimes, usually unpaid if it's at the weekend as we just get a set fee. If there's a genuine problem then of course we understand and do everything we can to help, but some people really do just take the mickey.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Hi, Malteser Bunnies 3 for £1 in Morries, The Sun had moc for free bunny worth 62p. Up to you how ya do it, I did buy 3 used two coupons and got 24p off me shopping. You could always buy 3.....

Viking, I thnk we should all send cards back or get in touch with advertising standards agency or consumer direct, if the invoice says points then points we should get. Ps, I paid by PayPal so I'm going put a dispute in the resolution centre after twenty eight days as order not complete, let's see how that goes!!!!!

Jackpot247 I think will give miss as the feedback is really awfull.
