Artha don't leave me in suspenders about the mystery RSH PM I might not sleep :o:rotfl:

edit: I have found it. I missed it in my drunken/hangover haste. Thanks for offering but I am ok. I only use these to take the kids to Manchester in the hols ( cheaper than driving) and I have enough for this Easter hols

Thanks for thinking of me x

Talking about lamb. I cooked some lamb shanks I got in Mr t the other night reduced to 57p from £5.75. I started them off in the oven in a pyrex dish but they did not seem to be cooking. so i nipped to my Mums and borrowed her pressure cooker. Added some finest chipolatos I got for 3p served with mash and green beans. DD had some Linda McCartney veggie burgers as she does not eat meat. Said they were lovely. She has got very thin the last week what with the stress and norovirus so needs feeding up. She had Anexoria before but I know this is just a blip so am not stressing about it. Also got a lovely piece of sirloin down from £13.10 to £1.31 at same time. Looking for a nice recipe for that for OH and I to have over Easter. Any ideas.?

    I think that's exactly it ;)

I perhaps would have felt less inclined to do it if we'd have got away for our cheapo night away in a Travelodge last weekend but the sicky bug had other plans

Finally got some seeds planted on the windowsill so feel slightly better that garden may look half decent in a few months :D Keep looking for good deals on Thompson and Morgan to use my voucher on but nothing jumping out at me. One of them expires tomorrow so i'll have to make a decision soon :p

We usually have a little break or two planned so we have something to look forward to, but not really worth booking anything else at the moment until I know what's going on with my treatment. Will be the end of April at least before my next scan and then they'll have to decide what comes next. Have lots of things I'd like to do but all up the the air until we know what's going on.

I got that voucher. Very annoying that it doesn't stack with the free postage :( Ill probably buy something anyways just to use it.

The garden will be your saviour Logie, once it gets going. It has kept me sane and given me a focus in the darkest of times. And the rewards are :D once you eat your first ' grown by me ' veggie there's no going back:rotfl: I still remember me and OH sharing a corn on the cob, the only edible one we got out of 4 plants......it was an absolute treasure of a moment :)

They are some good whoopsies Rose :T I've never seen meat below 75% off in my Mr Ts and mostly it's all gone when 50% off. I've never cooked Sirloin before so can't help with that one :o Hope your DD is improving and that your family are being more supportive :A

Im sorry if I cant help with the cooking, I am usually really good with that, but would hate to give the wrong advice, which I probably would at the mo.
