We have a freezing cold kitchen - a suppose I'd you have a frost free outhouse with no damp it might be the same.
Not joking, no heaters on and no roof insulation!
I keep my spuds in the shed. Dry, dark and cold....they last for ages. First thing is to get them out of those plastic bags! that would make anything rot.
I keep veg for months by drying it out and storing it properly0 -
If you have the time I cooked our half leg of lamb using this recipe this afternoon and it was lovely
Interestingly others have commented that you can't tell it's lamb afterwards
I added some rosemary and chopped garlic with the onions

Thanks Logie :A I have most of these ingredients.....will pass to OH to unlamb the lamb :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Oh dear, had one of those evenings where I have thought 'sod it' whilst doing my Ts online shop
Decided that I've tried so hard with all the money saving lately that we deserve a few treats for Easter. Haven't gone completely crazy but shopping bill is currently at £60+ And if i'm honest our meal plan this week involves using a fair bit of freezer stock too
I guess we all have to have a little blow out every now and againand I know plenty of friends and family who'd easily spend this every week without a second thought. I'll just have to make sure I don't make a habit out of it
I've also had a minor blow out and ordered some dresses from tesco.com. Most wont fit and will have to go back but it was very satisfying pressing the submit button :T
I just realised how long away our next break is this morning and in the meantime the garden is so far behind ....
Sons plans for Easter scuppered by the snow
All very depressing“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Im getting very  at the weather spoiling my garden plans.....I've had to go and get more paraffin for the greenhouse when usually I can stop heating it by now. All we can hope for is a cracking summer0 -
Hi guys
Not been on for awhile (lurked a little bit toward the end of the week) but got a proper trouting yesterday but on a positive note a potential DTD for you all.
The Chocablok £4 Easter Slabs (not the eggs) were reduced in my local one to £2. They scanned through at £4 however so I picked up 5 (3 kids plus me and missus). One of them went through at £2 which was the Valentines shape (not that I noticed).
Was trouted by a young girl so I said I would ring H/O and first call was take it back blah blah but second call and £16 DTD on a card coming my way.
Keep your eye's peeled for these and the Yellow SEL's
Note - its NOT the EGG but the flat large bar.

Artha don't leave me in suspenders about the mystery RSH PM I might not sleep
:rotfl:
edit: I have found it. I missed it in my drunken/hangover haste. Thanks for offering but I am ok. I only use these to take the kids to Manchester in the hols ( cheaper than driving) and I have enough for this Easter hols
Thanks for thinking of me x0 -

I think that's exactly it
I perhaps would have felt less inclined to do it if we'd have got away for our cheapo night away in a Travelodge last weekend but the sicky bug had other plans
Finally got some seeds planted on the windowsill so feel slightly better that garden may look half decent in a few monthsKeep looking for good deals on Thompson and Morgan to use my voucher on but nothing jumping out at me. One of them expires tomorrow so i'll have to make a decision soon
We usually have a little break or two planned so we have something to look forward to, but not really worth booking anything else at the moment until I know what's going on with my treatment. Will be the end of April at least before my next scan and then they'll have to decide what comes next. Have lots of things I'd like to do but all up the the air until we know what's going on.♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
