PS3 taken back to GAME store. Manager in store said that online returns were generally faulty returns that had been repaired whereas as store refurbs were people upgrading. So buying one in store I should have better luck, but they only had the new 500MB PS3 that would have meant paying another £80, so I declined and had a full refund.
Can't fault GAME service, but if anyone sees a deal on a PS3, new or refurbished, please let me know.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Why put kids off drinking tap water? it's perfectly safe to drink!!:D
:AI told my 8 year old niece not to drink the tap water because it had been through the water softener. She kept telling me it didn't feel any softer than the hard water. Then I directed her to the filtered water tap, as that was "cleaned water" and safe to drink. So more questions about how dirty was my water that it needed cleaning. By the time the questions had finished it was time for her to go home!
Sorry, had to butt in here - a water softener adds salt to the water so, whilst tap water IS perfectly safe to drink, softened tap water is NOT safe to drink. That is why I always think people are rather silly buying bottled water, especially as Evian is naive spelt backwards
Makes me laugh when all these water softener installers say they will also fit a filtered tap for free! They HAVE to fit a filtered tap by law, it is not free, it is simply included in the price :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
That is why we have an electronic water conditioner (OK, we also make them - but they DO work). What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

yes I worked it out as Fanta exotic yesterday afternoon - I think the last number is a 2 .
I did have a look for it today but my store is small so there was no sign - it was a store that never had the choc triggers at Christmas.
very useful chart, I think I am going to print off for future reference.
I got a Sada receipt today with 10 items on it but the APG machine didn't like it, it said not enough items so I am going to see if I can identify which are the rough items. One item is described as
bottle £2 - ???????“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I understood that they normally just excluded the kitchen tap from the water softener, so the kitchen tap was untreated water, or you could have the kitchen tap with softened water and then a separate tap that wasn't through the softener.
The more expensive option is to have all water softened and then have a reverse osmosis filter to clean the sodium (and other stuff) out of the softened water, and feed that to a separate tap.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. On Sada recs the barcode is printed without the last number so you have to guess what it is - good game“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
