I'm using Nivea Q10 at the moment - from one of my less than half price deliveries. It's very good.

    What's in a Scotch pie?

I'm reliably informed the filling is mutton mince, onions and some spices. Serving suggestion, heat up a tin of baked beans and tip over the top of the hot pie.

    Hmmm sounds tasty enough.

Here's my beautiful bag I bought today from our spring fair. A lady in the village makes them. It cost £5 but would easily be 5 times as much in John Lewis.

Just got to work out what ill keep in it:)

It looks so cute! Does she sell her stuff somewhere online:A

How lovely, I'm amazed that they didn't charge more.

Thanks all you lovely ladies and gents for the tips re: the hand cream. I will definitely be getting some on Monday. It's this awful weather that has made my skin start to tear/peel. The worst ones are on your toes and when they catch each time you move. Ouch!

No but some of the stuff is amazing. She had knitted Easter chicks in egg cups, spring flower tea cosies, felt bunnies.

Everything was so well made and reasonably priced.

    It's nice to support her:)

I want to come to yours for tea!

any chance of sharing the recipe for the cheesecake please.
    Tia

Easy peasy to do but not for the diet...:rotfl:

    White choc and amaretti cheesecake:

    Biscuit base
165g digestives, 60g amaretti biscuits, 80g melted butter.

Put butter in pan and melt, whizz up/crush biscuits then add to the melted butter and put in a 20cm tin, in the fridge to set the base.

    Filling
250g mascarpone, 1 tbsp amaretto, 300ml whipping cream, 300g white chocolate (melted)

Beat the mascarpone until smooth then add amaretto. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until it forms soft peaks. Then fold the mascarpone into the cream. Add the melted white choc (do it gently so you don't beat the air out of the mixture). Spoon over the biscuit base and set for at least an hour in the fridge.

You can scatter strawberries, crushed amaretti biscuits or a flake over the top if you want to make it pretty :p it's absolutely delicious :D
