It went down about tues to an acceptable level as they let some out further up, but my BIL works for anglian water and said the washlands are full so they were expecting us as guests this weekend :rotfl::rotfl:but so far so good but the problems will start again once this snows stops coming down and starts to melt :eek:
Trouble is everywhere is saturated and all the fields around here have water just running off them. Never known nothing like it!

Hi Patty
It went down about tues to an acceptable level as they let some out further up, but my BIL works for anglian water and said the washlands are full so they were expecting us as guests this weekend :rotfl::rotfl:but so far so good but the problems will start again once this snows stops coming down and starts to melt :eek:

Thanks for asking x
At least you are OK for now - may seem silly but if it is a slow melt the river may be able to take it. It is forecast here anyway to be just above freezing until weds so hopefully a slow melt on the cards. Can only live in hope. I am fine for flooding but there are roads not too far away from me that have an old drainage system and those people are tortured with flooding. I was going through geography with my teenage DD last week talking about flood barriers etc - you were one of my real life examples of flood risk:(Good luck bubbs.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
