BEWARE....I can guarantee there are more terms attached to it than that!
I got a similiar voucher (code AMAZWINE password WINEBANK) from an Amazon parcel and ended up having Virgin taking £20 out of my bank acount!!!!
Nowhere on these vouchers does it state anything about signing up for monthly payments but shortly after I used my £40 voucher I noticed Virgin had taken another £20 from my card. I called up to query it and was horrified to learn that they'd stuck me on their 'wine bank' scheme and were planning on taking £20 off me every month.
Luckily (for them!) I was able to cancel the payments and get my £20 back.
Completely underhand way of going about things. Needless to say I won't be buying off them again.
My advice would be to be careful when using any vouchers from Virgin Wines, particularly if they mention anything about 'wine bank'.0 -
Hi All
Not sure if this will work for you but you can try it, I have a voucher code for Virgin Wines and it will add £40.00 to your account, I think you may have to register as well.

Hello
I have been filling in these surveys to get a few pence here and there with cashback kings (every penny counts!). Well for filling in this one survey, they gave me lots of promotional offers but one was £40 off virgin wine online.
Would it be dodgy to use this?
I have been and registered on the website and it says the £40 pound is in the account but i would'nt want to give it my details and get ripped off or scammed.
Has anyone else got this voucher through filling in surveys? and is so, did you use it?
Kindest regards

Just be aware that Virgin not only sell "one off" cases of wine, but also have two "regular" ways of buying - one is a "seasons" type case where you automatically get a specific case once a quarter, and the other is the "winebank" where you pay a set amount per month (minimum £20 I believe) and for every 3 payments you make, they will add one too - ie, if you pay 3x£20, they will pay an additional 1x£20 into the "winebank". This credit on your account can then be used to buy wine (obviously), but the "interest" they give you cannot be used for certain special offers.
So when you go for one of these £40 off vouchers, check before you sign up that you are not also creating a direct debit of some sort - unless you want to, of course.
Edit .. just tried to check the T&C on this one, but as I am already a customer, I am not entitled to use it.0 -

Although the page for this offer is still on their website, I went through for the quote, but have received no email with the Virgin offer.
Naughty to have left the page up Mr. Webmaster....
dd...not exactly a tangible freebie, but just had an email from Quotezone saying they will email you a free 20% discount voucher when you get a quote from their website. I know Virgin wine vouchers are 2 a penny, but nevertheless, may be helpful in getting some Xmas booze?!
