I've still got it at 27 weeks, just taking the tablets twice a day and eating when I fancy and giving into cravings, can't do much else but baby is measuring fine so that's the main thing
  • I was also sick throughout my whole pregnancy. Nothing worked and I also ended up weighing less while pregnant.

I was sick all day, every day, until my son was born. I lost weight over the pregnancy as a whole, too.

From 20 weeks, I was on a tablet which reduced my actual vomiting to once a day or so. From 28 weeks, I was on a different medicine, which mostly stopped me vomiting, but I still felt pretty queasy.

Sipping luke-warm camomile tea was the best thing for me to keep fluids down.

I didn't take much time off work, as I found that being at home didn't make me feel any better, and gave me more time to think about feeling sick.

Didn't do my son any harm, he was born weighing 8lb, a healthy, average weight.

With my last child (I have 5) I had it until she was born, looked ill the whole way through and had it been the first pregnancy would probably have been the last. Tried everything including ginger which just came straight back up again. Felt like i was dying! Nothing they gave me made any difference so spent most of the time laying on setee as any exertion just made it worse. Sorry hope you have a better time than I had. :)
