Aldi`s Italian coffee is excellent. £1.89 a pack, used to love Sainsbobs continental blend but it`s goten too expensive.
  • Another vote for IKEA coffee here.....it's one of the cheapest, it's strong and has an excellent flavour.

Lidl Bellarom Gold. I've tried all kinds and always end up going back to this. It's great value, too, about £4 for a 500g pack.

Goes on special offer every few months too. So I stock up then.

another vote for M&S here ... as someone said previously, currently 25% off and both ready ground and beans are very good. I like a good strong cup and their two '5' strength options are excellent.

    Otherwise, Illy or Taylors :)

    Aldi`s Italian coffee is £1.89 per 100g pack = £18.90/kg.
Sainsburys Continental Blend is £4.75 per 454g pack = £10.05/kg.

The Lidl Bellarom sounds cheap @ £6.98/kg, but gets poor reviews when Googled -weak and unpleasant. I was tempted to give it a try, but now I'm not too sure.

Thanks. Think I must have read the wrong label. That works out to 8.33/kg which is cheaper. I will buy some next week to try.

When we had the filter machine at work Sainsburys basics always went down well!
I use ESE pods for the espresso machine, Illy for my husband & I like the boost & buzz ones from http://www.aromocoffee.co.uk/free-ese-coffee-variety-pack.html?gclid=CIaWgJm-jrYCFaHHtAodijsA2A they do beans, ground & nespresso too.
