Mine was exactly £32.
I even checked conversion rates from now and when i cashed out using historical exchange raates - was never as low as £32!!!!
So i guess when you cash out does not make difference. It depends when they process it - my cheque was dated 2 days ago but took 5 weeks to come and even if i check the rates - it should work out much more than £32.
Makes no sense to me why its low compared to rates - maybe they take it off for processing etc
How are you working out that it should be much more than £32?? 50 dollars is roughly £32.65 according to Google. To buy $50 from a travel agent costs £33.74 (The Post Office) and £33.50 with Tesco . Themoneyconverter.com works it out at £32.62.
What rates are you checking exactly? As I am looking for some dollars for a holiday my nephews are going on and I know $50 is about £32-£34.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Just received a cheque from GTM, for £32.16. Had been waiting for about 4 to 5 weeks.0

I think globaltestmarket have effectively cut the rewards again, browsing their site it says a 50$ cheque for 1100 points where it used to be 1000 points, and with the other newly placed rewards they have cut the reward value as well, in effect you are paying them for the quicker delivery method.
Used to be 50 points reward for each survey with 5 points for a screenout, now its mainly 30 or 35 points, only thing that helps is the good exchange rate.
One question,
Do you really believe that Globaltestmarket think that high flying management staff would do a survey for £1 as a lot of their surveys are targeted towards this demographic, or do they not care as long as they get people to complete the surveys?

Being 'senior management' as lots of these survey companies look for doesn't necessarily mean you have a big income or lots of spare cash. I know I don't! So I do think some of those people would do £1 surveys, definitely.
Obviously if someone states that they fit the bill then they have to believe them really.
Yes they have cut the rewards, as I make about £30 a month from this site it is a shame that they've cut them but I would rather that than not earn anything at all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
My cheque came today, £31.87. So that would be 1100 points, whereas £31.87 of Amazon (not that you can redeem that exact amount) would be about 1087 points roughly. Making Amazon slightly better at the exchange rate I received, but not necessarily overall as lots of people have received in excess of £32 for their cheques. I waited approximately 4 weeks for my cheque also.
I thought you would need 1000 points in your account to redeem but you need 1000 points or more AND to redeem for 1000 points or more worth of stuff too. Meaning I couldn't get a £25 Amazon and had to wait for about 15 more points before I could redeem for £30 (Despite having more than 1000 in my account). That should be made clearer...!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The exchange rate seems to be creeping up, the last cheque I had from them was worth £31.50 but the exchange rate today shows £32.64. I honestly don't know whether its worth holding out for a cheque or not.0

Just wondered it you have to pay any Paypal charges as you do when receiving money on eBay sales?0
