I would personally save your 5k, buy an office suite around £80 as that will have a spell check innit!

Buy the car, take it with insurance documents etc to the local dvla office, they will re register the car as normal tax class and jobdone, even the person selling the car could do this.

Personally I never bother, I just part ex my cars and letthe dealers sort the tax out
