I would personally save your 5k, buy an office suite around £80 as that will have a spell check innit!
Buy the car, take it with insurance documents etc to the local dvla office, they will re register the car as normal tax class and jobdone, even the person selling the car could do this.
Personally I never bother, I just part ex my cars and letthe dealers sort the tax out0 -
Section 7 of DVLA Form V188
• If you sell your vehicle, you should return your free tax disc on a V14 application form to DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AL. You will also need to fill in the relevant section of your V5C.0
