    you need to evict them through the courts, as long as your getting your rent, you have to prove why you want them out, and have good reason, just because you don't want to deal with them is not a good enough reason to kick them out,
    wrong... he doesn't need any rason just a correctly served section 21 which is no blame/reason.

    G_M you said they look for people that own two homes or more, but what if someone rents out the property they own, but they themselves only rent/share/live with family. Will they elude the authorities?

    That would depend in part on who's paying the Council Tax, for example. Or who's paying the utility bills.

    All goverment departments now do data matching, to detect fraud, its not a quick process, but we get a long list of people with discrepancies to be "resolved" every six months or so.
