Another week of successful meal planning for us. Only 1 meal on the plan not cooked as ate at inlaws one evening. Grocery spend still coming in slightly under budget which is all good. Have another charity event this week that I need to bake for but think I have everything I need for that already so should be on budget again this week hopefully.
Saturday - Sausage Hot Pot
Sunday - Slowcooked beef served in rolls (DD likes to dip the whole thing in gravy) with Potatoes and Veg
Monday - Chicken and Cashew Nut ChowMein
Tuesday - Tortilla Chips topped with Chilli and Cheese
Wednesday - Chicken and Gammon Pie
Thursday - Probably takeaway as I need to go to a Charity AGM after work. DD will probably meet me there from college so will be no time for cooking so will all eat on the run.
Friday - Turkey in a pepper sauce with Vegetable Rice
Lunches will be the usual sandwiches, wraps and left overs
Breakfasts will be cereal, fruit, cereal bars and porridge
Will bake a batch of cakes to go with the lunches but not sure what yet and will make some jam tarts as will have pastry left from the pie.
Hope everyone has a good week and look forward to seeing all your lovely meal plans.

I did my meal plan over breakfast this morning and have already changed it three times. I don't think there's a particularly good chance of this making it to the end of the week, somehow!

Saturday - beef and spinach rendang, coconut rice and spring rolls
Sunday - chicken and mushroom pie with root veg mash and cabbage
Monday - Spanish sausage stew
Tuesday - spicy veg stew with halloumi
Wednesday - peppered steak, jacket potato and some sort of veg
Thursday - Thai veg noodle stirfry with squid ringsBack after a very long break!0 -
