Hello, I am in the final stages of arranging IVA proposal, looks likely we will be offering around 12p/£. Just looking for some guides as to how many have had offers around that figure accepted - and if rejected how did you get round it. Thanks.

I paid 28p/£ in 2006 in an IVA. The figures from the Supervisor showed they would get very little indeed if they pressed for BR. Maybe they were pragmatic, maybe he was persuasive. One or two key creditors kicked off initially, but they agreed in the end, so I have moved on. Hope that helps.0

Thanks - if they push br they will get nothing basically - so there is hope.0

Hi,
Mine is 36p/£, and I have heard of IVA dividends as low as 8p/£ being reasonably commonplace.
There was even an example recently, involving a £multi-million debt, where the dividend was 0.5p/£ - offered in a full and final settlement, and accepted. (I guess even the rich go bust - albeit not in quite the same way as the rest of us).
Good luck.0 -
IVAs these days often get accepted at less that 15p in the £, if it is your best offer you should have nothing to worry about :-)
All the best with your IVA0 -
Thanks everyone - will see what happens. WIll update as and when0

fingers crossed for you, I'm sure your IP will be confident of your payment being accepted if they have put it forward to the creditors.Roll on DFD, final payment 1st October 2017 :beer:0 -
Who did you go through and how did you negotiate? I've going through PayPlan and they have come up with the follow which doesn't seem as good compared to the posts in here.
They offering me 55.9p in every £ and for my wife 49.2p back in £.0
