How disappointing, I was hoping to join this challenge, but with no lists or ingredients posted I won't be able to. I won't get online again tonight & will be up at 5 and leaving home @5:30, so won't be able to log on until tomorrow evening after 7, such a shame.

I am with you Hester, it is disappointing, I was intending to do my weekly shop tomorrow as I am in town anyway, so will have to join in at a later date.

Maybe she looked into it and could not manage with that budget. Was looking forward to some different ideas.

How about decamping to this thread - feed 2 people for as little as possible challenge?

Don't know where bukup's gone  She was last here on 11 May.

    Hi.

Must admit I was quite looking forward to this. Never mind you never know what has happened and I hope bukup's OK.

    bukup

Have just seen this thread and although I won't be joining straight away (meals already planned for once:j ) I was looking forward to reading the menus and lists.

I join yellowmonkey in hoping you are OK as your promised shopping list hasn't appeared. Please post soon to let us know if the thread is going to continue.
    Take care.

looking at the first post....if i read it rightly i am sure they said they will post on monday ( today)...but i might have read their post wrong ....

lets not give up.... as at the end of the day there is no such thing as cant......

so why dont some of us sit down and try and work out a weekly meal plan for £29.99 ok with me it will prop be beans or egg on toast for 6 days ...and jam snadwiches for lunch.......lol.....

it is obvious there is a lot of people interested ....and just becuase bukup havent got back to us at the moment.....but i think i'm right in saying....bukup was going to start it by posting the first weeks list....

so.. what do you think guys.....if its ok with everyone.... and i feel we would not be stepping on bukup's toes.... that if nothing is posted in the next day or so... we get some meal plans going....

and i must admit....i think we should give bukup a huge :money:  ......as the thread has certainly grabbed my attention.. and has also booted me up the backside to getting my food budget and meals back on track.....

  • Sounds good to me, although I'm just begining to budget as never bothered with the price of things before then wondered why my bill was over a £100 each week  Need to cut it down desperately and I might not have much to contribute yet but any help will be gratefully received.
Lets hope bukups ok and has a gret meal plan for us, if not lets see what we can all put together :D
