Maybe Ratboy has a vested interest in selling original ink cartridges. He clearly has no idea what counterfeit goods are. If compatible cartridges were illegal then Trading Standard would have prosecuted the sellers and shut them down by now. As has been said before the real criminal are the companies who Charge £30 for 4 carrtidges that cost no more than £3 to produce.

Maybe I don't? I have no idea what counterfeit goods are? Grow up! If people reported the manufacturers, then their might be something done!

The STUPID buy cheap printers, then buy expensive cartridges...thats how they roll. 4 petes sake, learn how life IS!

Also interesting is the HP e-print system that comes with this printer.
It seems that once connected to WiFi, it has it's own dedicated Email address. If you send an attachment, eg a photo, a PDF doc or a Word doc to this address, it prints instantly and in colour. This beats faxing which also ties up the phone line.

This sounds like a world-class bad idea. Just need to find out that email address, and chances are there will eventually be a funky google search term to find all these printers, and some jolly prankster will be emailing 20 copies of hello.jpg to your nan.

Each user sets up their own custom address, which can be instantly changed if needed.

Downloaded and used the HP printer control app for iPad yesterday, to scan some A4 pages in wirelessly, worked well.
