How about a CISS for the printer, just refill the CISS compartments with ink when they get low. no need to go into the printer then,

this is for the printer santer posted.

Not exactly true Ratboy, take my printer for example: epson sx200 for £40, compatible ink cartridges work out at 50p each when buying 12-14 depending on seller via ebay.

I use a CISS from cityinkexpress for a canon ipp4850 and find the ink quality as good as the manufacturers cartridges.
Coold look at the print and CISS bundles, the following page is the canon one

If you are buying refills/cartridges from eBay, then you are buying counterfit goods, if they are not manufactured by the Manufacturer, unless some idiot bought a job lot at reduced price, and is able to sell through such a dodgy untraceable, then at some stage, the law has been broken.

There is no way a genuine cartridge would be sold on ebay, unless it's either been refilled, illegally, stolen, or manufactured in China, and is illegal. Please post your source, so that I can pass it on to the police.

If your worried about fake goods, why not report all the football teams who sell "replica" kits? These are fake kits sold to fans, but as they are "authorised", and everyone calls them "replica" they are allowed, but this is a false description according to the SOGA. But to be a true "replica" then the kits should only ever be sold in the size a player wears, with the appropriate name and number on the back.
    Q. How many of us fat blokes would ever fit a true replica shirt
    A. None

You believe that cheap ink sold on eBay is sourced from the UK? Grow a life! It's sourced in China, where children produce it, and the comment regarding 'fake replica football shirts', is just a total joke!

My partner was actually involved in the production of football shirts, so when you state 'fake' she MADE them. For the clubs, and excess; for the general public. Not replica. Same as.

Sorry. That makes very little sense.

Which part in relation to the rest of the thread confuses you? My partner used to produce the kit for the pro players and fans alike, thus no fakes, or you conclude that ink is produced locally?

Sorry. But that doesn't really help clarify either. I've no idea what you are trying to say.

That ink may come from China? Maybe. But that doesn't make it counterfeit.

They may be able to pinpoint it, if not, ask to exchange it if it is within warranty. If you exchange it direct with Epson, they usually send new inks with the printer

    Just a tad off topic...?
  • Maybe Ratboy has a vested interest in selling original ink cartridges. He clearly has no idea what counterfeit goods are. If compatible cartridges were illegal then Trading Standard would have prosecuted the sellers and shut them down by now. As has been said before the real criminal are the companies who Charge £30 for 4 carrtidges that cost no more than £3 to produce.
