I love Roman Originals designs - just bought a wedding outfit from their outlet in Ebbw Vale. Not sure if they have a website or shops but I am pretty sure I have seen them in good department stores.

They have a shop in the Lowry outlet mall in Salford and they do have a website.

Look at Ebay for Jacques Vert - the ultimate mother of the bride shop.

Most of their stuff is at about a 75% reduction from list by the time it hits Ebay and it's only been worn once (by another mother of the bride!)

Alternatively, Jacques Vert sale is your very best friend.

Round here weddings are wall-to-wall JV.
I think it might be the law or something.
At DD's wedding we were all lined up like a JV catalogue :D

Phase Eight do lovely dresses that would be suitable for a modern MoB and I think their prices are quite reasonable (and you can often get real bargains at sale time).

Good luck with your search! I know how much my friend's mom stressed when trying to find something for her daughter's wedding.

Get Debenhams personal shopper to dress you.

I've used their personal shopper service on for 2 life occasions and Debenhams have come up trumps both times. Outfits were perfect.

Try Gray and Osborne (on line) some fabulous outfits plus accessories.

They often have on sale mother of the bride outfits too.

A bit pricey, but you can get great ideas then maybe check out e bay for something similar?
