Thank you! Think I may stick to girly things to review! Just feeling a bit lost with the site now, got the newbie feeling!

So would I be correct in saying 555 miles is £5.55? Move over swagbucks...
Thinking how I slog my guts to get a £5 voucher over there! Been on dooyoo with one review for less than a day!

No I got that completly wrong it's not £5.55!!
Now feeling a little less unsure how I am going to get money from this now.
But after reading somemore reviews on there feeling much better about mine. seems some people have written the bare minimum to get by.

Go to 'My Account' then there is a suggestions page in there. Only selected categories can have suggestions added at any one time (changed monthly) and only 5 suggestions per person per month. you will see a box of different fields that should be filled in (but don't all need to be) in order for your suggestion to be added.

glad to see others here :) and yes it is addictive!
i cashed out and received voucher in about 7 days i think. i am not sure what the average is as that was my first one. others will probably know

sorry I missed these posts in my haste...!

Amazon vouchers, in my experience (of which I've had about £1500 or so I think) normally come on a Thursday between say 10:30am and 4:30pm.

Random that I have noticed that over the years but I have... In fact, I have just checked and my last vouchers came as follows:

    Thursday 2:18pm
    Thursday 11:59am
    Thursday 4:25pm
    Thursday 12:26pm
    Thursday 12:08pm
Wednesday 11:18am (bucking the trend there!)
    Thursday 11:48am
    Thursday 11:45am
    Thursday 1:23pm

Hope that helps someone. Another thing I have noticed is that if you cashout before Wednesday lunchtime (12) you usually get the voucher the following day. If not you get it the following week. So if you cashed out on the 23rd it should have come on Thursday (did it?) if not, because of the bank holiday they might have some extra time off (they aren't UK based).

Hope they arrived ok :) I always remember that the first one or two took longer as they check some of your reviews too :)

  • I had no idea there was even a Dooyoo thread on MSE!

I haven't written anything on Dooyoo for about 9 or 10 months I think. Not because I don't like the site, I do, it's a great little site I just haven't had the time but I must get back on track.

Unless anything has changed in my absence, 1500 miles is equal to £1.50 so 555 miles is about 55p. As long as you write quality reviews and really become an active member it can take an age to reach redemption.

Those who write the bare minimum to post a review might think the site pays well initially but members soon get fed up with substandard reviews and stop rating them. It's definitely worth putting in the effort to write quality reviews and rate lots of other members work too. I used to only post a few reviews a month (with an average of around 80 or so rates) and financially I was much better off.

    £10 a day challenge August: £30.70

the more you rate others the more you will earn from yours being read. it adds up fast.
