Sorry for the inconvenience - what about all the stess it has caused, esp for people having to send id etc!!! Still no explanation - a feeble email but at least you got one. I got nothing - I am still annoyed! :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I am sorry to hear that it is still the same for you, but at the same time, I am glad that I am not the only one. This thread now seems to be full of people who are saying that the problem is sorted for them. The trouble for me is that even with actual photo's, there is only a small proportion of my "friends" that I will actually recognise. I am not that desparate to get on though that I will send a copy of official documents. I only have the one facebook account, so I cannot log on with another account and go searching to find out who the photos are.

I'm with you - I wouldn't send official documents to them, don't trust them.... Not that I've been asked to send them anything though !

My boyfriend has removed all his photo tags and replaced his profile picture with his name, so at least I can recognise him if he comes up in one of the validation attempts

If you are still having to verify photos please try the following,it may sound a bit strange but by now the process should be set to automatic----
Go to page 1 or 2 of this thread for the link to supply govt.ID
Complete the form but upload a random photo of Katie Price,a dog,a tree etc.
Submit.
If the program has been revised because they have lifted the ban universally it may just return the message that your ID has been accepted.
Silly as it sounds it is worth a try.You are not giving them anymore personal details and have nothing to loose.
Never know it may work --- its just a computer program which cannot reason.A lazy programmer will not have revised the software just set it to give an affirmative result owing to the numbers of people trying to verify now they have changed their minds.
