I appear to be back too, just saw my comment button was back, tested and worked.

The only thing i did yesteday was upload a profile pic, my account was real, only had real friends and only had normal photos on my account no odd comping pics.

I also think every like and share we see posted we should write on from now.

I was just wandering how you were all notified of your ban? Its just i keep getting emails claiming to be from facebook support, i have had them every day for a week or two (can't remember) but they seem to have funny email addresses! If i open the email it says Your Facebook profile can not be used. And to clicky buttons, one saying view notifications, and the other saying go to facebook. I haven't clicked on any of the emails as i don't trust them, but my facebook has not been affected at all (so far) x

After verifying via captcha for the fifth time, I suddenly got a message on the screen saying I had been banned for 30 days etc. I never received any emails at all from Facebook! I would just keep deleting them if I was you - do not click on any of their links!

If this page is not a fake then we all need to start complaining to them because every comp is a l&S!!!! I'm off to pm them - hope others will too!

If you scroll back you can see husband who has no fb account was getting fb messages in his spam, i linked to an article to show fake emails.

My husband was checking his emails this evening and in his spam was a mail from facebook security, I said at last a reply, but before we clicked on it we realised that his email is not my fb email, he doesnt have fb, so the mail was a scam

So just be aware in our time of trouble and you think you may have a reply from fb check its really them.

Mine are a bit different to that, but i thought it must have been a scam, the email addresses give it away for a start! I haven't clicked on anything but have opened another page to check my facebook account and its been fine every time xx

All this verification and banning business of late has really put me off Facebook! Although I have got my account back up and running, I constantly feel nervous about hitting the like button or even commenting on my own timeline or chatting to a friend for the fear of seeing another warning! It has really put a dampener on entering comps on there!
