I have just tried to get on Facebook, how are you meant to know where some of these pics are from, a bottle of vodka or dress could be anyone

Iv been locked out too this morning-i cant identify the pictures they gave me as some are of people`s children,others are from comps-have had 2 goes at it this morning and im still locked out!
I only use my facebook for doing comps and playing games but it is really me!

The annoying thing about this is that I see Facebook getting tough on people legitimately entering competitions yet I saw the account of someone attempting to scam people by "giving away" a iPad Mini and using Apple's intellectual property still there, still with the likes they accumulated in the couple of days the scam was up and they'll still be able to sell the profile on for profit.

It whiffs of double standards to me. :mad:

what a surprise after completing and passing 15 security checks yesterday I now have a 30 day ban - not good!

Put your mobile number on your account make sure it is visible only to you then you will get text messages with a code to verify your account I had 1 checks yesterday and 2 today so far

Hi EDC, could you post a link to the report form you used for this?

I've been searching without success for anywhere to report this. Facebook obviously don't want to hear from their customers!

The closest I could find for any sort of report was one headed 'Report a violation of the Facebook Terms' but none of the options seemed applicable - the only one that looks vaguely possible is 'other abuse or harrassment' (even this is aimed more at abusive content).
