I had to do a security check , haven't been banned yet but I received a ban about 5 months ago and never knew why, it certainly wasn't anything obvious. I used the feedback function at the time but never get a response, do it if you like but I'd be shocked if you got a reply.

I'm not surprised I got flagged as I very rarely use facebook for anything other than entering competitions. Having said that, I'm not aware I've broken any rules, I have one account and all the details are real.

I was very annoyed when I get banned. I guess if anyone gets to give feedback to companies tell them to run competitions on their own site and not on facebook because if this kind of thing is going to happen regularly it's going to be extremely frustrating.

I know facebook does have a lot of fake and multiple accounts and companies are unhappy about it (because their 'likes' that they are essentially trying to accumulate/buy can't be trusted). It's no reason to ban people who follow their rules though. If someone figures out what rule I/other people have broken please post it on this thread.

Can I ask something here? For those of you that have set up a new account etc, why do you need to add all "MSE/Compers" as friends, in particular if they are people you do not really know. Are you not going to be faced with the same problem again some point in the future if you are asked to verify your account and ID pictures? Just a thought.

Also, more and more are people stopping like and share comps so if it is a case of finding comps that way, would they not be posted on here in the forums so you could find them that way?

i must have had 20 goes with the photos but finally only had one of the tagged pictures, so got the photos ok xx

Well, no posts made except one status update after getting booted last night, and there we go this morning....please confirm (via mobile) even though nothing has gone on in the night! Confirmed and then closed my page!

Blocked again this morning. I've now sent a 'report a problem' form off complaining about it so we'll see.

Good morning everyone! What a day we had yesterday, with everyone getting locked out of their accounts. This was happening to compers in the USA and Australia too!

If you want to help your friends out in case they are asked to do a photo check, you need to go through your photos and remove the tags yourself from the competition prize photos (see screenshot). Photos from the Sacla App or similar are OK because your name is on it.

We also recommend you avoid any tagging competitions, and cut down on the 'Like & Shares' too. Facebook is about to roll out their new photo-heavy news feed and it looks like they're trying to cut out a lot of the 'clutter' that us compers are responsible for sharing!

Finally, we'll be making more of an effort to make promoters aware that their non-compliant Facebook Timeline promotions are unfair - and are getting compers banned! We'll be advising them to use Apps instead.

In case anyone has missed it:

Add a mobile phone number to your Facebook account (setting it as 'only me' can see it) so if you're logged out again they can send you a verification code to log back in.

If you ask me - Fackbook at F***ing S***! (excuse the French!) It is those companies they should be threatening for running comps against their rules! Thing is - we cannot complain to Facebook as they never reply!

I failed the picture thing again today. I don't know why this is bothering me so much, I can't remember the last time I won anything never mind on fb.

If possible can anyone who has access to their account delete old tag photo comps. e.g. necklaces and things as it would help those trying to get back in a lot.
