Cousin says snow continuing, don't believe her, weather on BBC and Meridian say sun tomorrow. Five inches so far!
Sorted out food cupboards this morning. Threw out some, gave DD some and made more space. Made a jelly for DGD if she comes tomorrow, otherwise I'll have to eat it:rotfl:

Watching Diners, Drive ins and Dives, I am addicted to that show:rotfl:
One day I'll go to some of the places, they show!

I don't know what happened top start it all off in the first place,
But I am now very much regretting doing them outside Jobs last week when the weather was nice. I know they needed doing and I did won't to get them done before I went Into hospital.
But I now I might have done some real damage to it. Today It was not feeling too bad. Its had some more rest over the weekend, Iv had to use it but only every day use. So this morning its not feeling too bad. A bit sore and a bit tight. As per the last few days. So I do some tidying Jobs around the house this morning. Nothing hard and heavy Just normal stuff.
By the time I had finished. It was killing me and had swollen all back up again. Now I had the cube a grip on. So my wrist had support. And it was only a few little jobs as I said.
Its getting silly now. Its been over a week Since it started hurting.

Anyway, I'm phoning the doctors first thing in the morning, Hoping I can get in. If not Ill have to go up the A&E and sit and wait for about 4 hours,

My eldest DDs rocking horse we christened Dobbin, 44 years ago :):) must have stuck in my mind.Snow has been driving blizzard-like for most of the day, seems to have worsened this afternoon Luckily my son-in-law managed to get home early so I came home in a gap in the wind and snow. All their garden furniture has blown all over the place and their front gate is now on the floor in the front garden, Simon says it can stay there until the wind and snow drops.
I have just spent a freezing half an hour putting a plastic cover obver my windscreen to save scraping it in the morning.as Ma Broon would say "jings its braw cold the day " :):)My Dad used to get the Sunday Post sent down from Scotland and I loved The Broons :):) also Oor Wullie:):)
Chicken Curry for dinner that should warm me up a bit
Keep wrapped up folks, its still winter out there

Three Heavy snow shower here today,
    Strong bitter wind,
    Very cold.

Non of the snow has stuck, What did land on the floor melted not long after.
We will have to see what happens In the night.

Got up early to start bread dough and leek and potato soup for tonight and then went with DH to hospital appointment.

Came back and made lunch and pottered a bit.

Had soup with bread and then a home made chicken stir fry. DD has just helped me load the dishwasher and have only a few cups and glasses still to sort out.

Just about to make dd a sandwich for tomorrow and put soup in fridge for tomorrow's lunch.

    Lame Wolf

Hope you feel better soon and virtual hug , pat on shoulder or just a wave sent to you.

  • I'm wondering if this board is breeding illness?

Thanks for the good wishes, hubby is home now. He's had prophylactic antibiotics and painkillers and they think it's all ok. He sneezed yesterday and they think he ruptured something then.

It was blizzard conditions outside earlier but it's ok now. I don't do cold, it's unnecessary.

I had planned to make pasties for tea, but following this afternoons trip to the hospital we had chip shop chips. I'm too tired from caring for all these sick people to go to WI now.

I don't remember Old Lob at all. I feel I've missed out.
