My daughters favourite is strawberry and pineapple. She uses Tesco value tins when they aren't in season so I'm happy that she is eating plenty of fruit and it doesn't cost a fortune. :)

The r.mac household was very kindly given a juicer as an engagement present at the weekend. We have taken on a test drive and it makes brilliant orange, lemon and apple juices. :T

my question is this - 'what else can we do with it?!' It is such a lump of equipment to keep in the cupboard just for juice(without meaning to sound ungrateful - Oh thinks its brilliant). I have a feeling it won't be out and used as much as we envisage. ;)

Any bright ideas or amazing juice recipes you can share?

Im trying my best to save money and utilise the things I allready have.
Anyway I have a juicer, one where you throw in the fruit, veg skin and all and it juices it.I occaisionally use it for the obvious making fruit juice but I was wondering is there anything else I can do with this machine apart from apple and orange juice.I like to follow recipes so any help is much appreciated.

    Hi,

I was telling my sister that I was going to start making smoothies, and she said she had a "Juicer" which she had never used, so she gave it to me.

There was a recipe book that came with it, and im afraid this may sound like a silly question, but, if I was putting fruit through the juicer would I peel it first. Also, if Im puttinf cucumber through it would I peel that too?

    Sorry for the silly questions

Oh forgot to say, if it says to use live yogurt does that mean natural yogurt?

No need to peel fruit, it should do it itself. No need to core apples either. Don't do citrus fruits in it, use a squeezer for this. Juicers are very good for using up slighty manky fruit, it's very forgiving of bruises etc. Also, make suer you rinse the juicer before the fruit dries on - it becomes really hard to clean off once dry.

Live yoghurt means natural as far as I'm aware

    Enjoy!
