    Hi Northern_munky

Working for Vodafone, I can tell you it will be possible for us to unlock your handset by code.

If the handset is under 12mths old, there will be a charge of £20, which will be taken from your calling credit.

If you want to request the unlocking code, if you go to the Contact Us section on the Vodafone website, you will have the option to send us an email. If you include FIT135 in the body of the text, it will be picked up by a team who can help.

You will also need to include the make, model, and IMEI number of the handset you want unlocking

Instead of going straight through to Vodafone and paying 20 pounds it can be done a lot cheaper by people like myself and James-73 using the same way Vodafone do it (Code)

With Vodafone it is free of charge although there is a hell of a hassle to get them to do it as they do not want you to leave!

That's no excuse - the chances are you're not leaving Vodafone if you haven't asked them for a PAC to migrate your number. It's far more likely that someone is requesting an unlock code because they've upgraded their handset and want to sell their old one or pass it on to someone else (possibly to use on a different network).

Also, I notice that as you've bumped up this thread, people are continuing to address the OP from May 2007 - I'm guessing they've sorted their E250 unlocking issue by now. ;)
