When you log in, next to your order it says 'Email us about this order'.
Please note it is not asking you to email them about the order. This is simply a button you can push if you want to contact them about the order.
The more people that contact them the more likely they are to notice the glitch and cancel everyone's orders.
As Lawrie28 says, the P&P hasn't changed, it is just how they show it on their system.0 -

The 'email us about this order' isn't an instruction or command , it it just there in CASE you need to e-mail them about your order
It does say something about new delivery method but there is still no actual charge billed for it!
Mine says 'processing' anyway as well as the above details in red & the correct amount was earmarked from my bank account so it is just a 'wait and see' now...
It doesn't help that some plonker on Facebook this morning had placed multiple orders for ''£200 of free books , and counting''!
I suspect he is not the only one though as it went live on Facebook , Twitter and practically everywhere which is why the site was crawling .... I wanna get my cookery book for my Grandson as want to do some baking with him at my place & the board book I ordered for him to take it over the £10 mark has lots of pictures of his favourite foods like yoghurts and bananas and as he is speech impaired because of his Autism books like this really help him , so here's hoping!!
( But annoying that twa*ts like the one boasting on Facebook could possibly mess it up for everyone including some innocent children missing out!! )x

Thanks for Emailing them and alerting them about the glitch! The P&P charge that appears on the order screen is an internal amount used as a nominal cost for each book (£1.50 per paperback, £2.50 per hardback as far as I can tell). If you look under the amount it stills show £0.00 as the amount due.
Is there not a "life cycle of a glitch" post somewhere around here?
I responded to my order in my order history, if it says to email then I will if there is a chance that I might get to receive it even with a small contribution but overall I still get something of a bargain.
The way I viewed this message was that this will still go through with a P & p contribution, hardly alerting them to the glitch as all I put was a brief general sentence re what the message meant for me. I have ordered from this company many times , paying full prices, and on no occasion has it had this message previously.
Plenty of people had stated that they have had a dispatch message. They have stopped the code so they already have worked out something had been occuring.0 -

I know it has been abusef and I know that they had pulled the code so it probably wont make a difference. Regardless of this the number one rule of a glitch or mis price is you never ever contact the company to ask anything unless they contact you first. the life cycle of a mis price/glitch generally goes as folllows.
Person finds glitch and orders for themselves. They will then post on Mse etc.
Everyone else piles in and orders too.
Smart person 'wants to check something' about the glitch so phones or emails the company to ask them. They then post on Mse (or whichever site) that they have enquired about the price and will let us all know, which sparks everyone else posting about not contacting company.
Company realises error and cancels all orders bar the first few that have already been processed.
Everyone moans about not getting deal, apart from a few who say that they did get deal although no-one believes them and reckons they are trolling.
Another glitch is found and it starts again.
There may be a few twists and turns but this is generally how most mis prices work.0 -
