    Xmas Saver!
I feel bad, but the book I got was for the kids, so maybe that makes it a little better.:o

Dont feel too bad for them, they are part of Pearson group who turn over nearly £6 billion quid with nearly a billion in profit (according to wikipedia). Just a great way of getting loads of good press, as i am sure this will hit the nationals.

Hopefully the good publicity you are giving them here will make it a good investment in goodwill.

I appreciated them honouring their offer and have emailed my thanks as they could easily have pulled out.

I've just emailed them, thanked them, made a promise that my old books go to charity and another that they will be a book company I use in future. DK Books you are briliant to honour this when you really didn't have to :)

i was also very impressed they honoured the offer but the email did make me feel guilty.
Think is it shouldn't be US who feel guilty - it should be the OP who knowingly posted it when it wasn't a legitimate code.

However when I think how many £100's of pounds my parents, myself and my kids will probably spend on their items over our years the guilt kinds goes away a bit.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Genuinely did not think they'd honour the orders! Hopefully this has got them some publicity though, and I know I'll be buying from them in future for showing such great customer service when they weren't obligated to.

Sigh, a day after receiving their email saying they'd honour the order I get another email saying they're out of stock :( Clearly I took way too long browsing!
  • Got my email too. Great customer service and pr.
