    Wow, wow, wow!!!
I was not really expecting this but, wow!
Thomson's only defence in our case is/was their "2year rule"
I won't count my euros quite yet but, wow!!

As a Flight Delay specialist law firm representing Mr Dawson we estimate the decision affects over 11 million passengers and is worth in excess of €4 billion to consumers.

I thought it would be big!

ok so know what do I do as my case was stayed in november on the 6 year time limit

My case is stayed also. My strategy will be:
    1. Contact Thomson (email or phone) and give them the opportunity to settle in 7 days (I haven't decided whether or not to forget about interest)
    2. Ignore any nonsense they spout about appealling to the Supreme Court
    3. After 7 days write to the court requesting the stay be lifted

BREAKING NEWS! Bott&Co wins 2nd Court of Appeal case confirming flight delay claims can go back 6 years. #DawsonvThomson

    Bott wins again!!!

Many many congratulations to all involved, Including Mr Dawson (not sure if he posts on this forum but he gets my thanks anyway).

My case was stayed for both Huzar and Dawson. Huzar was irrelevant really, the DJ on the day just threw it in there for caution I think (when neither us or Thomson had mentioned it at all)

Thanks to Bott & Co for clearing the first hurdle in Thomson's defence for me (2 Year MC limit) Surely the easy bit;).

Now I have what must be the far more tricky task of sorting out a birdstrike claimed as extraordinary circumstances. (As an aside, Bott & Co are not really helping on that front following some of their comments - but still, What do they know????!!!;))
The above is just my opinon - which counts for nowt! You must make up your own mind.

The airlines will win for the simple reason if they lose I get a bite of the cherry and I'm not usually lucky when it comes to that.

Congratulations to both of us,back to court we go :T

    Even more rocking good news!!

    Well done to all involved
Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.

Suddenly the (modified) words of John Rambo have popped into my head:
    "Thomson...I'm coming to get you!"
