You had me worried Vauban but I'm glad to hear that you've kept the faith. I can only hope for a positive outcome but I find it hard to imagine that our learned Judges would have been swayed otherwise.

To be clear Len, I have said I think Dawson will prevail. But it will be a more finely balanced judgement than most reckon, I bet.[/QUOTE]0 -
No mention on their Twitter account of the Bott team making an early start to the Court for the judgement on Dawson, as they did with the Huzar appeal when they wanted to capitalise on the outcome........that looks ominous!0

Are the press there?0

This is potentially huge for the airlines. I suspect it will go against Dawson because it would be commercially hugely damaging.0

Nowhere near as damaging as the recent Huzar appeal!

Yes, there are fewer claims at the moment.
However, if Dawson win you'll find thousands more claims coming out of the ether.
My gut feel says the powers that be won't want that situation occurring.
Going back 6 years will create a rush for more claims to be filed.
Huzar was also based on a much clearer legal precedent.0 -
The airlines will win for the simple reason if they lose I get a bite of the cherry and I'm not usually lucky when it comes to that.0

I imagine there are fewer claims at the moment because the strategy the airlines took worked

Who are the powers that be? The airlines?
Judges should (and I would say most likely do) take into account the law as it is to make a ruling, not the economic (or administrative) consequences of the ruling. The above is just my opinon - which counts for nowt! You must make up your own mind.0 -
