  • I feel your pain.

I once found £500 deposited by mistake in my VirginOne account. I received a letter from RBS shortly after with a request for my authorisation for them to withdraw the money.

So I did but only authorised then to remove £475 as I charged them £25 administration charges. They didn't quibble !!

I closed my Virgin One account ages ago shortly after this tread started.

So, after training which means staff should have PhD qualifications by now, the One account login has changed to a Natwest page.

The Natwest login page will not accept my One account login details.

All telephone numbers for the One account are closed on Sundays.

Therefore account is unobtainable online and I cannot transfer monies to where they need to be.

Is this to be known as the Virgexit?

My log on still works and still shows as the Virgin One Account.

Maybe try a different address. Are you going to http://www.virginoneaccount.com/onev3/virgin/home/service-logon.shtml
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • Clearing cache often helps in these circumstances.

Login seems to be ok for me too. I hope all those of us with mortgages that don't run out for ages aren't kicked off this product as it is perfect for those of us that don't have a steady job/steady life and need flexibility to over pay and under pay whenever needed.

I suppose next few years people will be coming up to their 25 year anniversary (mine is 2017 sometime and I took it out quite soon after it was announced). Has anyone extended theirs yet? I don't want to be without it, far too useful, and no other product quite the same.

are any of those Current Account Mortgages, rather than Mortgages that can be linked to a Savings Account that Offsets?

I don't know. I assumed Charcol would be correct in their descriptions and not confuse offsets and CAMs but a bit of a glance suggests they may be doing just that!
