    Still training !

Website inaccessible unless you have a PC and are willing to use IE.

Question. "When is a 24/7 online bank not a 24/7 online bank" ?

Answer. "When it is Virgin One"

It hasn't been a 'Virgin' product for some years - it is entirely RBS

    RBS don't think so...

It's never had a mobile app, couldn't use the RBS emergency cash service and is now effectively closed to new customers.

This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com
  • And the bad news is that even if, like me, you no longer have a mortgage associated with it, you still cannot take advantage of the industry-wide current account switching arrangements. You have to do it all yourself - as I found out this morning.

That is bad news. For me the One was a wonderful account, I still have it and the house is still mortgaged on it and rented out with their permission. It expires 2018 and I wonder what they will do then, if I can keep it beyond then or must convert it in to a normal account. The revolution it started did continue but without it in the market I don't think any of the other accounts around compare to it.

  • I'm not sure exactly what point you are trying to make other than pedantry.

So, after training which means staff should have PhD qualifications by now, the One account login has changed to a Natwest page.

The Natwest login page will not accept my One account login details.

All telephone numbers for the One account are closed on Sundays.

Therefore account is unobtainable online and I cannot transfer monies to where they need to be.

Is this to be known as the Virgexit?
