  • I bought a rug today for £8. Was meant to be £16 but it didn't have a tag on and T3sco was so busy I think the checkout person scanned a bathmat through instead. I paid and legged it out of there!

    £19/£30 this week. Whoop!

This week was purple but it was a close run thing I had to stop myself from buying a very tempting Malteaster bunny or 2, can't wait for them to disappear from the shops to keep me from temptation :D

Next week I have no idea what to set we are away very early Monday to very later Thursday & Friday and Saturday look hectic think I'll go for £100.

Wishing everyone well with the challenge.

ETO I hope everything went well at the scan, was hubby able to go with you?

  • The scan was amazing. Hubby came, it's the first scan he's really seen in person. It's just fantastic to see bab in 3D. The little monkey was fast asleep the whole time, but we had some smiling and poking tongue out. But there we nothing in the world was waking him/ her up. And I think bab looked like hubby too. :D

    Hi folks...

Sorry for late check-in... My few days in London proved more expensive by the time I'd forked out for tubes and food and parking etc and afraid I went RED!!!

    Re-cap:

Fri- £9.00 - Took myself to the cinema after work
    Sat - NSD
    Sun - NSD
    Mon - NSD
    Tue - NSD
    Wed - £6.11 - Bread + rubbish :(
Thur - £25.70 (Tube, Parking, Italian meal out, Train snacks!!!)
Fri - £18.76 (Coffee, Lunch and meal out)
Sat - £14.50 (Taxi, Train snacks, Tube)

    TOTAL: £74.07/£50.00

Afraid I was weak willed!!! I took food but we ate out and didn't feel I could stay in on my own. Had a lovely time. Spent money on rubbish I didn't need to also... Ah well... not every weekend you go to London!!!

Am including today's spends in last week's so I can now start afresh and set a new spend limit:

    W/C 17/03/13 - Pledge = £20.00
    ⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Casper, sounds like you're being a lovely friend. Have a virtual hug ((()))

Thank you everyone for being supportive in my overspend :o

On the plus side, I haven't spent anything today. I count Saturday too so will report the final RED number on Sunday. Happy weekend everyone :j

Thanks MissE001, really needed that hug lol. It's exhausting but I know that my friends would be there for me at the drop of a hat and have been many times :D

    Cheers
