    Hello everyone

Finally! I made it back here. :D

My friend's kitten has been diagnosed with heart failure, Kate (the kitten) is only 18 months old and it's been a tough week. Today Kate was seen by a cardiologist and they had to drain some fluid off her lungs and around her heart for the second time in a week, so it's been a rather traumatic week to say the least. Her brother is having a scan next week to make sure that he's ok.

She had no symptoms at all and suddenly fell ill last week, wheezing and struggling to breathe. I was playing with her and her brother just the other day and had no idea she was ill. Apparently her heart is severely enlarged and the prognosis is not good. So I've been helping my friend who is understandably devastated to get through it all.

I love animals and they're adorable kittens and I've grown very fond of them. While Kate was in hospital her brother was running around the place crying and looking for her, so it's been rough. Don't know what he'll do without her, or my friend.

Another friend is going through some serious marital problems so all in all it's been a tough two weeks. We've been friends for over 25 years so it's a very stressful time and I'm trying to help and support them both, but it's tough.

I've decided to abandon this challenge for this week but will be starting again on Sunday when the new thread is up and running.

Thanks so much for the good wishes and kind words, it's much appreciated.

Hope you all have a lovely low spend weekend.

Hugz to all who need them.

    Cheers
    Casper

Oh yes, and I've already christened 2 of the 3 pairs - no point in keeping them as ornaments :rotfl:

Well I just blew this week's budget!!

I spent £7.99 in tesco (£4.50 was for my sister), £5 on lottery tickets and £3 in the £ shop so my total for the week is £61.21/£50.00

Ho hum, what can ya do! I will be better next week hopefully! My sister gave me a brand new 'the white company' leather pouch which, according to the tag, cost £50 so all is not bad today :D

My budget for next week will be £50.
