OMG! M&S Bank Debit Card...

It is a beautiful design by Sir Terrence Conran.
I've just opened an M&S bank account and been sent one of these. I'm wondering if anyone else finds it problematic. My daughter, on seeing it, described it as sexist - implying that women are just high heels & cups of tea. She said she would be embarrassed to pull it out of her purse if it was hers.
I find it so messy and lacking in any cohesion. It's as though they asked a focus group what are symbols of 'Britishness' and then just placed as many as they could on the card. But my main complaint is that the busy background makes it very difficult to see the numbers for anyone who has less than perfect reading sight. Not good for me and perhaps also others over 60. I'm wondering if they will swap it for a plain background card. Might ring them and ask.0 -
It looks crap. Like a kid's just gone to town with their "Stereotypically British Images" sticker set you got them as a stocking filler for Christmas.DEBT FREE!

Video doesn't work for me, but if we're talking about the one with cup, flowers, etc. on white background it is by far the worst looking card I have. Trying to read the white bank account number on white background is so difficult, cards should contrast the writing and background. Santander with black on red is a good example, or any others that do usual white on a dark, solid design.
When cards are so unique looking there should be more than the one choice. I agree with others, if you want to be unique allow the customer design their own, not force some stupid overpaid designer tat.0 -

With this sort of "attitude", you'll never be allowed membership in the Worshipful Card Appreciation club
(neither will I)0 -
